Canada West Telecom Group |

The Canada West Telecom Group is a marketing alliance of telecommunications
suppliers in Western Canada.The members actively use it as a vehicle to
share sales costs and personnel, as well as information and sales leads,
for developing export markets. They have a CWTG trade show booth in which
all the companies are represented and small groups of members form to
take turns manning the booth on behalf of all the members. They will have
the CWTG booth at about 12 trade shows in 2004.

Manufacturing and Exporters Association (CME) |

The CME is a national organization
that was formed in 1996 from the joining of the Canadian Manufacturers'
Association and the Canadian Exporters Association. It is now Canada's largest
industry association. Its BC branch is very active and puts on excellent
networking and educational events, focusing on both exporting and manufacturing.
In these regards it is very relevant to much of the high tech industry.

of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)- Canada |

The IEEE is a non-profit, technical
professional association of more than 377,000 individual members in 150
countries. In BC, local activities are organized by chapters in Vancouver
and Victoria.
Through its members, the IEEE is a leading authority in technical areas
ranging from computer engineering, biomedical technology and telecommunications,
to electric power, aerospace and consumer electronics, among others.
